FE fundinfo uses EET data for ESG ratings

FE fundinfo has added data from a fund’s European ESG Template (EET) to its ESG fund ratings and given access to the users of its FE Analytics to ratings from Climetrics and Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS).

Funds ranked by CDP-run Climetrics receive a 1-5 leaf rating while ISS ranks funds with 1-5 stars. The former assesses funds based on how they support a transition to a low carbon economy, while ISS ratings are derived from a weighted average ESG performance score which evaluates issues across ESG performance metrics.

Meanwhile, FE’s ESG ratings also consider:

  • PRI / PRB signatory label
  • Provider commitments
  • ESG label(s)
  • Exclusions
  • Main ESG focus
  • Stewardship and engagement information
  • SFDR product type
  • Considers PAI in investment
  • Minimum SFDR Article 8 Funds
  • Minimum SFDR Article 9 Funds
